Inspired by the imagination of P. T. Barnum, The Greatest Showman is an original musical that celebrates the birth of show business & tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation.
After two very successful screenings last month, we are bringing our show back on Sunday 7th October 2018.
HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST?
We’re freezing the ticket prices at £7.50 per person as we want those that missed out last time to pay the same price along with those who want to return.
WHAT TIME IS THIS ON
We’ve scheduled three screenings; 1pm, 4.30pm and 8pm. All three screenings are family friendly shows and we expect all ages at each one. We ask parents to use their own judgement as to whether their child can stay awake of enough if they go the later show.
Doors open 1 hour before the performance starts.
WHERE CAN I SEE THIS
We’ll be screening this event at Hangar 34 which is on Greenland Street within the Baltic Triangle (Liverpool).
ARE SEATS ALLOCATED
No. We will be setting out seats in a theatre style and seats will be available on a ‘first to arrive’ basis. The stage and screen are raised so they can be seen from anywhere in the venue including the balcony.
We’ve listened to feedback from our last show and we’re leaving the first few rows to the kids so they have an ‘adult free’ view of the stage and screen. However if your child wants to stay seated by you this is fine also.
Furthermore, if you wish to bring a booster seat please do so.
SO WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?
Sing-A-Long Cinema is all about making the whole experience as interactive as possible. We will be screening the film in full (approximate running time 1hr 46mins) and the lyrics will be on the screen during the songs so you can join in - although we know most of you know the words anyway! Throughout the performance we have actors from The Liverpool Arts Society who will lead you in song and dance - please few free to get up out of your seat and join them.
We also have circus performers before the show to keep you entertained such as stilt walker, juggler, trapeze artist/ aerial hoop artist and fire breather.
CAN I BUY FOOD/DRINK?
Yes. The bar will be open for both alcoholic drinks and soft drinks. We also have snacks such as hot dogs, crisps, sweets, and pop corn (until we run out).
IS THE VENUE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
The ground floor is however the balcony area isn’t. Please let us know that you’re coming so we can assist you when you arrive and ensure we can accommodate your request.
IS THERE PARKING?
There is very limited parking outside and it’s only a 2 hour stay.
